I waited at least a month before leaving this review because I wanted to be sure this would be the gate that worked for us, and by golly *knock on wood* it does!

I have bought COUNTLESS options to try and keep my tiny gremlins from getting into the kitchen while I'm cooking. They like to play ratatouille. We live in an older house so a HUGE hurdle for us was finding a gate that would fit in our doorframe. This one JUST fits with the smallest setting. It does take away about 5-7 inches worth of walking space but it's well worth it. The magnets are strong and thus far the cats have not been able to break through the barrier. One of them loves to get caught in the bottom like a fish.

Set up was 100% time consuming, but the videos on the website were SO helpful. I just followed them step by step. I would recommend 2 people doing the construction. It was just me and I struggled to hold pieces where they needed to go.

It's a lot of money for a gate, but well worth the cost in my sanity. Thank you so much for creating this product!!!

This gate works better than I had imagined. The hardware is sturdy and strong, and the netting is impossible for the cats to climb. My elderly cat can now engage with the younger ones without constant harassment. It also gives the younger cats the opportunity to interact with her safely, rather than just sniffing at her under a closed door, which would only overexcite them when they would encounter her--thereby leading to the chasing and general harassment. This gate gives everyone their protected space while also allowing them to engage as they like. The house has been much more peaceful since installing this gate. Plus, I can open and close it without needing to climb over anything and risking injury to myself. It's been win-win all around. Great product that I easily installed by myself using the video instructions.

We just got 2 new kittens and are slowly introducing them to the house. We learned quickly they are curious little monsters and love to find random things to test gravity or to play with. Plus, they seem to exit-seek at times so we wanted to be sure they won’t run out as they are waiting to be chipped. We were able to block off a hallway so they have access to a few “kitten-proof” rooms for now and might later on use it by the exit door once they are introduced to the whole house. The gate is super easy to open and close- and it has made life quite a bit easier and much safer for the kittens. We highly recommend this gate for all cat owners.

Have been trying different ways to prevent access to my front door since my cats don't know how good they have it. this has been the best. It looks good and is clean/simple to use. It wasn't incredibly easy to set up because there are no written instructions included only video. I could do it easily the second time around though. The doorway I tried to fill was bigger than the dimensions for the gate. I don't recommend that. Make sure there is some fluff in your dimensions so the net can be stretchy.

I do like this gate! We adopted two new kittens and wanted to keep them separated from our senior cat while they were all getting adjusted to one another. This helped us to do gradual introductions while separating them at night or unsupervised times. I like that they can also see, hear and smell one another through the gate which is more helpful that a solid door. It also helps us to see what is happening on both sides of the gate. This worked well on our stairwell as well, where a swinging pet door wouldn't work. It did take a while to assemble, but there are online video instructions which was helpful. A big picture of how all the pieces fit together though might be even more helpful if they could add this in the future, although we eventually figured it out. Overall, I think it's a great product for cats!
