We got this gate to introduce our resident cat to our newly adopted cat and it was a great safe way for them to interact without risk of fighting. The only thing that was a challenge when using it in a doorway, is the rings at the top and bottom don’t allow it to open very much, so it cuts the door opening in half. I’m not sure what the solution for that would be since you need the rings to secure the gate so the cats can’t get through. We don’t expect this to be a permanent solution, so it’s not that big of a deal for us. Overall, we are very pleased with the quality and functionality of the gate.

First thing that actually works! Tried various baby gates before this, and our crafty kitty repeatedly broke through. She actually managed to pry this one open once (she's very determined), but I contacted support and they sent us an extra U channel for the side that opens. Hasn't arrived yet, but I'm confident that she won't be able to get through again. And even without the extra channel, she has not broken through since the first time.

Our cat has anxiety when visitors come to the house or when we are away. She turned our sectional and carpet into her litter box in protest. Our house is very open concept so we needed a gate to block off her access to certain rooms until the 4-6 weeks her kitty meds kick in. We needed something high that she couldn't climb over and something that was easy for us to get in and out. We loved that this is not permanent and can be removed without damage to walls etc. The company has been great to deal with and we are really relieved to finally have found a workable solution. I joke that it looks like we have soccer goals in the house but hopefully we will be able to remove them soon.

I love this gate! I adopted two kitties and wanted to introduce them to their new environment slowly and this gate has been the perfect way to do it. They haven’t attempted to climb it. I read the reviews and have had the same positive experience. But almost better than the gate is the customer service! I worked with Lisa and she was fabulous! I had a small issue and she took care of it immediately. It is hard to find such great customer service anymore! My only suggestion would be on the instruction videos for assembling it would be more helpful if someone was talking thru the steps and not just the pictures of it. Otherwise, fabulous product!

We adopted two cats who do not get along. It felt awful keeping one locked in a single room while the other one had free access to roam, even though we were trying to rotate them regularly. The Meow Safe gate has allowed us to split our house in half and keep them from harming each other, while giving them each large spaces for zoomies and family time. There have been a few hissing, growling and attempted slapping spats through the netting on the Meow Safe, but when they realize they can’t get full access to the other party, they give up and go on to other things. By the way, Meow Safe was the third gate we tried. The first metal bar pet gate wasn’t tall enough and was easily leaped over five seconds after it was installed. The second metal bar pet gate was tall enough, but the poles in the extension pieces had some flex, which presented the opportunity for one of the cats to get his head wedged between the poles. Luckily we were home, saw it happen and the situation was dealt with before he was injured. The Meow Safe has been safely installed for a little over two weeks and so far so good. It was a little time consuming to set up, but seems to be the answer to our situation.

I love my boys but I hate having them in the kitchen. After a little Googling I came across this cat gate. I was hesitant about the price, but I figured if it worked then it was worth it.
Set up was difficult, but that’s purely my fault. If you stick to video then you’ll have no problem.
I’ve had the net up for a few days now and it’s everything I could’ve hoped for! No one has tried to climb it or chew through, but one of my cats thinks he can shove his face through the small holes in the netting to no avail. The whole thing is sturdy, not cheap or flimsy at all. I’m just so glad I have a cat-free kitchen. This company is awesome!
